Begovo Razdolje is located in Gorski kotar, in the municipality of Mrkopalj. Begovo Razdolje is the highest inhabited place in Croatia at 1078 meters above sea level, and is located on the western slopes of Bjelolasica. Today, Begovo Razdolje has only about forty inhabitants, mostly elderly. Instead of forestry, the local population is increasingly turning to tourism and agriculture with an emphasis on animal husbandry, so that in Begovo Razdolj today there is the largest cow farm in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, which can be visited by tourists and familiarized with all the processes. The very geographical location of the place opens great possibilities for the development of tourism.

Nowadays, the population of Begovo Razdolje has started to turn to tourism, including animal husbandry in the tourist offer. Therefore, Begovo Razdolje can boast of the largest cow farm in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the farm of the Francišković family. The cow farm is 50 meters from our vacation house. Don't miss trying the autochthonous dairy products of the Francišković family, such as škripavac, curd, yogurt and many others.
Sledding / skiing
Gorski Kotar is full of hills and hills, ideal for snow activities. If you want to go sledding, there is a small hill behind the holiday house, which in winter becomes an ideal sledding track. Of course, sleds are waiting for you in the basement and are offered for use. The Čelimbaša ski resort is located in Mrkoplje, only 5 kilometers from the vacation house. The ski resort is equipped with a cable car and offers adventure to even the most demanding skiers.
